Salem Village is a villa community comprised of families, retired senior, working professionals, and the unique Florida Species known as "Snow-Bird". It is located within the master community of Ridgemoor, in the Palm Harbor, East Lake area of Pinellas County. Salem Village features 151 attractive villas, with tile roofs, all tucked away in a charming, gated, Palm Harbor neighborhood.

This website is for the use of Salem Village residents and is dedicated to providing information concerning the community and it's affairs. Other website visitors are encouraged to learn a little bit about our community.


Announcements Announcements

RECYCLING - Blue 18 gallon recycle bins have been delivered to each villa by our trash company. Pick-up will be as follows: TRASH PICK UP SERVICE TUESDAY AND FRIDAY - there is no change to our current service; RECYCLE SERVICE WEDNESDAY ONLY BEGINNING WEDNESDAY 10/18/19. We can accept plastics, #’s 1-5 and #7, glass, aluminum and paper/cardboard. Containers must be cleaned out prior to adding them to your recycle bin. **Recycling guidelines prevent us from taking plastic bags. Waste Connections does not take recycling directly at our site.

2020 CPA & BANKING CHANGES FOR SALEM VILLAGE - Salem Village’s banking relationship has changed from BB&T to Bank OZK and as a result will require action from all homeowners when sending in the first 2020 assessment payments. Coupon books with the new account numbers and mailing address have been mailed out already. To date - 121 of 151 have made the necessary change.

PROOF OF HOMEOWNER'S INSURANCE - Proof of Homeowners Insurance Please continue to submit your required proof of homeowners insurance to gflowers@elitepms.com. This information is due by the last day of January. To date - 105 of 151 homes have submitted this info.

SALEM VILLAGE WEBSITE http://www.salemvillagehoa.com - When filling out a Maintenance Request (lower right side of home page in bold orange box), please remember to complete the entire request and hit the submit button. You should immediately get a copy of whatever you submitted in your email box. If you did not receive a copy of the submitted email, this means that you did not finish filling out the request form completely.

RECONVENED RIDGEMOOR MASTER MEETING HELD ON 12/30/19 - The reconvened Ridgemoor Master Association meeting was held yesterday (this was for the cell tower and proposed amendments voting). Results of voting were announced at the meeting and I am happy to share with you that everything passed with the exception of #4 which was: “I vote to further protect home values and ensure that the rest of homeowners do not have to pay the expenses of the few that choose to not abide by the community conditions and restrictions by allowing the Master to better deal with remedies and cost recovery from those few homeowners”. It missed by 25 votes. AND YES - CELL PHONE TOWER PASSED!!

2020 ASSESSMENT COUPON BOOKS - By now you should have received the 2020 assessment coupon books (with the exception of people with dual residence - yours may still be working through USPS for delivery with mail forwarding) • Multiple emails with various options to make payments have been shared with all homeowners • EVERY homeowner is required to make a change in how they pay their assessments • There is no fee to pay by check with a coupon, pay using on-line banking or pay by Association Auto Debit (ACH) • The payee info for the assessments has not changed - payments still are made to SALEM SQUARE II HOA Inc. • Bank OZK Association Services phone number is 1-844-905-6975 • Payments should be mailed to PO BOX 20246, Tampa FL 33622-0246 • If you had had Association Auto Debit (ACH) in the past - no need to do any kind of stop payments as our former CPA has done that already when closing the bank accounts • Communication was sent out with Association Auto Debit (ACH) forms attached for those that wish to set up auto-payments again going forward with our new bank • Collection Policy was included in mailing to all homeowners - please understand that with the delays in mailing of the coupon books that there WILL BE leniency in this policy for January

TRASH & RECYLING PICK UP - Just a reminder to please put trash and recycling out 6pm or later the day prior to trash/recycling pick up. Also, all trash must be stored in a covered trash can (no bags please for the wildlife to make a mess with)

GATE CODE ACCESS - Please keep an eye out for a separate email about gate access into the Salem Village community. This update is REQUIRED BY RIDGEMOOR MASTER ASSOCIATION by every homeowner.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE UPDATES - SAVE THE DATE - February 1st Hospice Fashion Show at Innisbrook Country Club (US Hwy 19). Please plan to arrive no later than 10:30am to get great selections of clothes, purses, shoes, and lovely jewelry. This event includes lunch and a fashion show. Lots of high end clothes and name brand items available to purchase. Lots of door prizes and silent auction. Fun time and helping to find a cure for cancer. Please call 502-644-1189 for more info.

Meeting Notices

HOA Board Meeting - Salem Village Homeowners Assoc Board Meeting will be held at the Pool Cabana on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM. Notices and agendas are placed on the bulletin boards at the front gate and at the pool area.
